In this reflection, I share the story of two justice-focused organizations I’ve long admired and supported that have recently closed their doors. The reasons are complex, but one stood out. A pattern I call self-imploding justice.
It’s when we become so certain in the righteousness of our perspective that we lose the ability or the willingness to see another way. It’s a reminder that even in the work for justice and humility, perspective matter just as much as conviction.
I speak candidly about what this means for movements, leaders, and communities. It’s a timely reflection for anyone committed to making change without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Let me know what you think!
